Brief Profile

Adejoke Adebola Adeniyi-Jackson is a dedicated Chief Information/Protocol Officer and serves as the Coordinator of the Vice Chancellor's Office at Kwara State University. Her educational journey began at Chapel Nursery and Primary, Ilorin, and she later pursued her secondary education at the Federal Government Girls' College, New Bussa. In 2000, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Ilorin. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) at the Kwara State University. Following her graduation, Adejoke embarked on her career journey as an administrative staff during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year at the Bauchi State House of Assembly. Subsequently, she entered the world of journalism as a cub reporter at Mandate Publications, the publisher of the National Pilot Newspaper. Her dedication and hard work led to her rise through the ranks, eventually holding the position of Acting Editor at the newspaper, a position she held until her voluntary resignation in 2020. Adejoke joined Kwara State University as a staff of the University Relations Unit. Later, she was seconded to the Vice Chancellor's Office as the Chief Protocol Officer under the late Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mustapha Muhammed Akanbi SAN. She continues to serve in the same capacity under the current Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Alade Jimoh. In addition to her primary responsibilities, Adejoke has been an active member of various University committees and boards. She is a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and the National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ). Her leadership roles within NUJ include serving as the Chairman of the National Pilot Chapel and Ex-officio of the NUJ from 2015 to 2018. She also held the position of financial secretary of NAWOJ from 2004 to 2007.

Adejoke is a valued member of several Kwara State University committees, contributing to initiatives such as the Internal Generating Revenue Board, Convocation Ceremonials Committee, Editorial Board of KWASU Bulletin, KWASU Radio Board, KWASU Holding Company, Bulletin, Student Union Election Committee, and Cleaning and Janitorial Services Committee, among others.

Beyond her professional and university commitments, Adejoke actively engages with her community as the Secretary of the MMGIVIT charity initiative. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, networking, and exploring new destinations through travel.
